My deepest condolences to John's family on his passing. John was an incredible guy and I enjoyed our annual Myrtle Beach golf outings spanning 20 years or more. I was happy when he moved back to the Rochester area where I was able to see him more than once a year. John had the uncanny ability to make a bad situation good and a good situation great. We had some memorable times together that I will never forget. He will be greatly missed. RIP my friend.

Played many rounds of golf with John at the Harbourtowne Resort in St. Michaels, MD when he lived there in the '80's. John was always a fun-loving guy and I'll always remember his favorite expression when he'd hit the ball into the woods (he was a very long hitter). It was "Oh well, if you have to be in trouble, it's better to be in trouble long". John was always entertaining.
Very sorry to hear this news.
