Sue,

I was planning on attending the service today and it did not happen.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Gary was one of the people I always admired in the Webster plant. I remember when he was made supervisor of the bindery and the workers would complain to me that he shouldn't have been made supervisor because he doesn't know anything about binding. My answer to them was he didn't have to know anything about binding that he was appointed to make it run efficiently...and that he did.

In many of my dealings with the manufacturing people they would lie right to my face. I never had that with Gary and I never questioned what he told me. There weren't too many Gary's there.

I hope God's love will let you find comfort in knowing you had 34 years with one of LCP's best employees. My son Duff always talked about how great it was to work for Gary. It must have been a two way street because whenever I saw Gary in the plant after Duff left to go to RIT he would always ask how Duff was doing?

My very best to you and the family.

To the entire Dodd family and all of Gary's friends, I am sorry for your loss.

Working with Gary at LCP, we had many wonderful exchanges and shared many laughs. I was thrilled when he was able to attend my bachelor party and remember fondly sending him home with a big leftover prime rib dinner.

When I decided to leave the factory to go to college, it was with Gary's full support and he hired me back summers to help me financially.

Thank you Gary for everything.

Peace to you and all who love you.
