Walworth: Went home to her Lord and Savior on (Wednesday) June 29, 2016 at age 86.
Predeceased by her husband: Harry Gates; sister: Doris Cook and brother: Keith Jones.
Joyce was a devoted christian and a member of the Ontario Baptist Church. She was an active volunteer for the Ontario Food Pantry, Pines of Peace, and Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her loving children: Valerie (Crispin) Peters, David (Lynn) Gates, and Pamela (Gary) Baker; grandchildren: Kirstie (Jason), Kylie (Derek), Katie, Karen (Craig), Kody, Miriam and Deborah; great grandchildren: Samantha and Thomas; sister: Dorotha Dibble, brother: Kenneth (Virginia) Jones; sister in law: Mary Jones; many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held (NOTE): Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10am at the Fairport Baptist Home: 4646 Nine Mile Point Road, Fairport, NY. Private family interment in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Joyce can be made to the Pines of Peace or to the Fairport Baptist Home.
