The quote "The best thing you can wear, is a smile" is what I remember you the most for. Uncle Richard, your smile was contagious, especially when we heard you and Aunt June are coming to visit. "Yes, I am the baby (youngest) in our family" is the common title I shared with you. Except you had many more siblings (6) to tease you than I. Their is no irony but fact of the Goodness name that describes you and is a keepsake for all.
May you now be at peace with God and join your parents, brothers and sisters who have their "baby" back. Even though we were separated by distance, my heart never knew it. It was you Uncle Richard that brought our family together whenever you came to visit. And now it is us willing to let you go, but left us your smile.
And finally, I thank you for your service to our Country.
May God Bless You Uncle, Richard.... Tom

Please accept our condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear James, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. However, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, unlike humans, only God has the ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in His memory. Notice how the Bible stress this fact in the faith strengthening video Below:
