William "Will" Tucker Allen
Macedon - William “Will” Tucker Allen, age 37, of Macedon, New York, went to be with his Lord, on June 26, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. A devoted husband, loving father, loyal son, and faithful friend, Will’s sudden passing leaves a deep and lasting void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Born on May 7, 1988, Will lived a life marked by joy, humility, and unwavering love for his family and community. On October 19, 2013, he married his soulmate, Joanna (DeHond) Allen. Together they built a strong, faith-filled marriage and raised four beautiful children: Willie (9), Noah (8), James (6), and Marigold (4). Will’s greatest joy was being a father—his days were filled with laughter, play, guidance, and love for his children, who adored him and knew they were deeply loved in return.
Will worked in road construction for Donegal Construction, where he was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and commitment to quality. He took pride in contributing to the infrastructure that connected people and communities, and he was respected by coworkers as someone who could always be counted on—with a quiet smile and a big heart.
Will was a man of deep faith and strong character. He lived simply and purposefully, showing love through action more than words. He was the kind of person who offered help without being asked, who listened more than he spoke, and who made those around him feel seen and valued.
He is survived by his loving wife Joanna; their four children, Willie, Noah, James, and Marigold; his parents, Rich and Lisa Allen; his sister, Jesse (Christopher) Perricone; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Kristina DeHond; brothers-in-law, Jeremiah (Sandra) DeHond and Josiah DeHond; a sister-in-law, Bethany (Travis) Cordial. He also leaves behind many extended family members, coworkers, and friends who mourn his loss deeply.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William and Marjorie Huten, and his paternal grandparents, Bernard and Mary Allen.
