Williamson - Thelma J Haak, 98, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Young Funeral Home, 4025 Ridge Road, Williamson, NY 14508. Thelma's graveside service will be at 10 a.m on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Marion Cemetery.

In memory of Thelma, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the scholarship at Newark Central School in memory of Andy Haak, or the Williamson American Legion.

Thelma was born in Palmyra, New York, and graduated from Palmyra High School. She devoted her life to her family as a homemaker, taking great pride in raising her children.

Thelma was an active volunteer with TWIG and a dedicated member of the Williamson Reformed Church, where she enjoyed helping prepare and serve community dinners.

She loved to travel and especially cherished camping adventures with the Airstream Club. Thelma also treasured the time she spent at her home away from home in Juno Beach, Florida. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Thelma will be remembered by her son, Paul (Cindi) Haak; daughter, Susan Haak Jante; daughter-in-law, Catherine Haak; her grandchildren Chad (Tabitha) Johnson, Michelle (Matthew) Hill, Eric (Jeannie) Haak, Cassandra Laird and Sarah (Kevin Chapman) Haak; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Thelma was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Lloyd, in 2019; her son, Andy Haak; grandson-in-law, Michael Laird.
