Martville - Rosemary Jean Johnson, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
The family will greet friends from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Young Funeral Home, 4025 Ridge Road, Williamson, NY 14589. Rosemary's funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at White Haven Memorial Park, All Seasons Chapel, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY.

Rosemary was born the daughter of the late Charles and Veronica (Wietz) Williams on Friday, June 6, 1947, in Rochester, NY. She graduated from Nazareth Academy with the Class of 1965. Rosemary entered the Sisters of St. Joseph, where she lived in community for about a year and a half.
She met her future husband, Michael, and the two were married in 1973. Over the years, Rosemary worked in various roles, including several years at the Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester, and ultimately retired from Wegmans.
Rosemary enjoyed being on the water-she and Michael were avid boaters, taking many trips together on their beloved boat that was named after her; Rosemary Jean . Rosemary loved watching almost any sporting event and was a fan of the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills. She especially enjoyed watching the Little League World Series. During high school, she played softball and also bowled at Kodak Park. Above all, she cherished her time spent with her family, and life long friend Bonnie Petralis.
Rosemary will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bill (Donna) Johnson and Sherri Vazquez; her six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; her brother, Ron (Cassie) Williams; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Michael in 2013; and her son Michael Jr.
