Roger E. Dickinson
Sodus: Entered into rest peacefully on December 10, 2024 at age 93.
Predeceased by wife: Louise Dickinson; grandchildren: Dan Dickinson and Melanie Priestley.
Roger was survived by his loving and devoted children: Randy (Tina) Dickinson, Sharon (Dave) VanDerlinde, Phyllis (Jim) Burgio, Tim Dickinson and Cari Dickinson and their mother: Carol Dickinson; grandchildren: Rachel (Noland) Silman, Steven (Kayley) Dickinson, Julie (Alden) Akins, Jim (Lindsey) VanDerlinde, Amy (Brian) Deppe, Tonya (John) Kyler, Ian (Annmarie) Priestley, Katy (Tyler) Shaw, Caleb, Kayleigh and Kinsley VanStrien; (17) great grandchildren; sister: Carol Martin; many extended family members and numerous friends.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held on (Sunday) December 22, 2024 at 1pm at the First Reformed Church of Sodus: 18 Maple Avenue, Sodus, NY 14551. Private burial in Marion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Roger can be made to the church.
A special thank you to Dr. Ignaczak and Lipson Cancer Center-Clifton Springs for the wonderful care given to Roger.
