Richard “Dick” LaBarr

 

Williamson:  Entered into rest peacefully on October 15, 2024 at age 85.

Predeceased by his parents: Cletus and Florence LaBarr; siblings: Barbara Reak, Fay Phillips, and Keith LaBarr.

Dick loved to restore antique Lyman boats.  His meticulous craftsmanship never went unnoticed whether it was his woodworking projects or remodeling his homes. 

Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Ruth; children: Tracy (Patrick) Bliek and Todd (Lori) LaBarr; grandchildren: Danielle (James) Calocerinos, Nicholas Bliek, Cameron, Alyson, and Ryan LaBarr; sister: Sue VanCura; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A celebration of Dick’s life will be held on (Saturday) October 26, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church, Ontario, NY.  Private burial will be held in Lake View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Dick can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
