Richard F. Browne
Rochester - Richard F. Browne, 87, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced.
Dick was born to the late Richard C. and Theresa (Fowler) Browne on Sunday, October 9, 1938, in Rochester. After graduating from high school, he began a career with Delco, where he worked for many years until his retirement.
Dick was an avid golfer and bowler who enjoyed spending time on the course and at the lanes with friends. He was also very active in the Webster Kiwanis, where he dedicated his time to community service and fellowship.
Richard is Survived by his sisters: Nan (William) Vanee and Naomi Ewan; nieces: Andrea S. Ewan and Beth Rohan; many extended family members and friends.
Richard was predeceased by his wife: Betty Browne; brother: Peter (Mib) Browne; niece: Heather Browne Alexander.
