Ralph “Gary” Verbridge

(6/4/1935 – 01/28/21)

Gary Verbridge of Williamson, NY, has followed the love of his life once more, joining his wife in body and spirit 11 days later at the age 85.

Gary is predeceased by his parents: Ralph and Ruth Verbridge; Wife; Gail Verbridge; Son Bruce Verbridge; Granddaughter: Morgan Elizabeth Verbridge; Nephew: Brian Verbridge.

 He is remembered with love by his devoted children: Alan (Carol) Verbridge and Brenda Depta; Daughter-in-law: Lisa Verbridge; Grandchildren: Justin (Jackie Samz) and Mason (Mackenzie) Verbridge. Jessica, Laura (Michael Duning), and Amy (Kyle Robbins) Depta, Whitney (Andrew Studley) Verbridge and Katelyn (Geoffrey) Catlin.  Grandchildren: Halle, Danica, Everly, Alana, John, Jake, Maeve, Bruce; Brother: Roy (Deborah) Verbridge; and bushels more extended family and friends. 

Gary was a hard-working farmer, founding G&G farms more than 50 years ago. Gary was also a skilled mechanic, pilot and proud family man. Gary especially enjoyed repairing and driving antique cars with his favorite Gail.  Known best among his family for his warm greeting, strong hugs, and never-ending supply of comedic relief. 

A private service will be held at the discretion of the family. A future gathering for others will be announced at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Williamson Volunteer Ambulance Service.
