Patrick F. Burns
Sodus Point, NY: Entered into rest peacefully after declining health on (Thursday) April 16, 2020 at age 72.
Predeceased by his parents: Frank and Gladys Burns; father in law: Stu Hotchkiss; sister in law: Laura Hotchkiss Hefley.
Pat proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. from 1966-1970. His time in service included: three tours in Vietnam resulting in the receipt of two Purple Hearts. Pat was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and wood work. Patrick had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the piano. He loved his pets, especially his dog, Sassy Blue.
Survived by his wife: Diane Hotchkiss Burns; sons: Jason Burns and Patrick F. Burns, Jr.; grandson: Ethan Burns; mother in law: Anne Hotchkiss; step-son: Joshua LaBouve; sister: Kristine (Wayne) Lyman; brother: Frank (Cheryl) Burns, Jr.; sister in law: Judy Hotchkiss-Leistman; many extended family members and friends.
Per Patrick’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held.
