Mildred Ann "Mickey/Mick" Randall
February 2, 1942 - December 6, 2025\
Mildred Ann "Mickey/Mick" Randall, 83, of Marion, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 2, 1942, in Logan, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Manford Allen Smith and Martha Lee (Gillman) Smith and the sixth of their ten children.
Mickey's life was defined by her generous heart and her unwavering devotion to those she loved. As a mother, she poured herself into raising her daughter, Lisa. She worked tirelessly to provide for and ensure that Lisa always felt supported, cherished, and encouraged. Mickey's pride in her daughter was immeasurable-her love was steadfast, unconditional, and at the center of who she was. Becoming a grandmother brought her immense joy, adding yet another layer of meaning and purpose to her days.
Throughout her career in home health and nursing care homes, Mickey cared for the elderly with tenderness and dignity. Her compassion and quiet strength blessed the lives of countless patients and their families.
Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Randall (1999); her parents; and siblings Avanell "Ava" Watson (2017), Lon Smith (2021), Manford "Mac" Smith Jr. (2019), Martha "Sis" Smith (2020), Garland Smith (2013) and Betty Moore (2008).
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Manikowski, and son-in-law, Mark Manikowski, of Greencastle, PA. She is also survived by the grandchildren who lit up her world: David (MaeKayla) Manikowski of St. Thomas, PA; Rachel Manikowski of Greencastle, PA; Nathan Manikowski of Schuylkill Haven, PA; and Jason Manikowski of Greencastle, PA.
In addition, she is survived by siblings Homer Smith, William (Bill) Smith, and James (Jim) Smith; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her special niece and chosen daughter, Kristen De Fisher, along with Kristen's family-husband Paul, daughter Roxy (Kyle) Fairman, daughter Sarah, and son Isaac and grandchildren Ivory and Cedar Fairman.
A service to honor Mickey's life will be held at Young Funeral Home, 4025 Ridge Road, Williamson NY, on Friday, December 12 at 12:00. Burial will take place in the spring at Sunnyside Cemetery in Williamson, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations-whether of time or financial support-be made to an organization that serves and uplifts the elderly, a cause close to Mickey's heart.
Mom, you were my first friend, my constant supporter, and the strongest woman I have ever known. You sacrificed so much so I could have the life you dreamed for me, and you loved me with a depth I will carry forever. I am who I am because of you. Thank you for every encouragement, every lesson, and every bit of love you poured into my life. I will miss you always, but your heart lives on in mine.
