Passed on April 8, 2025, at the age of 82, at the Isaiah House in Rochester, N.Y.

Predeceased by her husband, William F. Winslow in October 2024, her parents Merrill J. Wood and Alice E. Adams, and sister, Marilynn Dollar.  Survivors include three children: Donald (Cheri) Winslow, Robert (Rhonda) Winslow,  and Sandra (Pat) Kuter, and six grandchildren: Drew (Amber) Winslow, Kate (Joe) Brennan, Austin (fiancée Audrey) Kuter, Bryce Kuter, Emma Winslow and Sara Winslow. Also survived by brothers-in-law, David (Brenda) Winslow, Robert (Jo-Anne) Winslow, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marge graduated from East Aurora High School where she participated in the choir and received high honors at state competitions.  She also attended the University at Albany (‘65) with a degree in mathematics and a minor in Spanish.  When she was a sophomore, she met Bill on a blind date when her sorority and his fraternity held a dance at R.P.I.  He persuaded her to accept future dates and they married when she was a senior.   After graduation, she taught math for a short period of time at Chatham Central Schools before starting a family.  

In 1982, Bill and Marge moved to the Rochester area.  They enjoyed their cottage on Conesus Lake…boating, the July 3rd Ring of Fire events and friendships with their neighbors.  Throughout the years other hobbies included: square dancing, contract bridge, gardening, puzzles, crafting and taking multiple cruises.

Calling hours will be held at the White Haven All Seasons Chapel in Pittsford on April 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to Noon, followed by a brief funeral service and private interment for the family.

The family wants to thank the Isaiah House staff and volunteers for all their comfort care and kindness.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Isaiah House, 1005 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607.
