Predeceased by her parents: Don and Doris Stevens.
Kay had a passion to knit and read. She enjoyed spending time with her family and outdoor rustic camping. Kay was a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol.
Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jim; devoted daughter: Kim Hartsen; sisters: Ann Stevens, Joy (Jim) Stevens Lytle and Jan (Mike) Stevens McDorman; nieces: Constance Gilchrist, Kelly Jackson, and Laura Andrus; nephews: Jason Gilchrist, Adam Lytle and Matt McDorman; special family: JessePingert and Gerry Sweet; many extended family members and friends.
Calling hours will be held on (Monday) December 13, 2021 from 5pm – 7pm at Young Funeral Home. Facial coverings will be required.  Burial will be held on (Tuesday) December 14, 2021 at 9:30am in Furnaceville Rural Cemetery followed by a celebration of Kay’s life at 11am at the Williamson United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Kay can be made to the Williamson Volunteer Ambulance Service.
