Macedon - Joyce A. O'Leary, 76, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with her family by her side.

Joyce was born on Friday, December 10, 1948, in Newark, NY, and grew up in the Wolcott and Williamson area. She spent most of her life living in Ontario and Walworth. She attended the Williamson School District and later built a career at Xerox, where she worked until health concerns led to her retirement.

Joyce cherished time with her family, especially delighting in buying gifts for her grandchildren. She had a special fondness for garage sales and enjoyed shopping whenever she had the chance. A true animal lover, Joyce had a deep affection for her pets-especially her beloved cats.

Joyce will be remembered by her husband of forty years, Keith; her children Arthur Barber III, Angela Barber, Kenyatta Barber, Ronald Barber, David Pentycofe, Cassandra Rogers, Raymond Barber, Tammy O'Leary, and Timothy O'Leary; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces -Josette Harris and Alicia Walker; sister-in-law Kelly; brother-in-law Kevin (Michelle) O'Leary; and her best friend Linda.

Joyce was predeceased by her daughter, Selina Barber; her sons Desmond Barber Sr. and Rodney Barber; a sister, Ada Walker; and her mother, Lavina Miner

Joyce's celebration of life will be on Saturday, May 17th at 1:00pm at the Antioch SDA church located at 1929 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519.
