John J. O’Hanlon
Rochester, NY: Entered into rest on May 27, 2022 at age 78.
Predeceased by grandson: Kolm Ronan O’Hanlon and sister: Inez Fair.
John was a dedicated firefighter in various Monroe County Fire Districts. He was awarded a certificate of achievement from FASNY Fire Association of the State of New York for over 50 years of service.
Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Ruth O’Brien; children: Sean (Barb), Brian (Lori) O’Hanlon, Daniel (Zach) Chupe-O’Hanlon, Jennifer Cole, Zachary O’Brien, Eve (Patrick) O’Brien-Guilfoyle; grandchildren: Katie, Connor, Leah, Kieran O’Hanlon, Christopher Stiner, Cassidy and Paige Guilfoyle, Jonah and Noah Ingham, Dr. Kaylee (Jeff) Hatzel, Logan (Grace) Underkofler; great grandchildren: Brennan and Violet Stiner, Quinn Hatzel; brother: Patrick (Theresa) O’Hanlon; brother in law: Rodney Fair; many extended family members and numerous friends.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on (Friday) June 17, 2022 at 10am at the First Baptist Church of Rochester: 175 Allens Creek Road, Rochester, NY 14618.
