Haletta R. DeFisher
Haletta R. DeFisher, 97, of Mentor, passed away August 4, 2024 at Kirtland Rehabilitation and Care. She was born March 18, 1927 in Williamson, NY to the late Clifford and Mina Leroy.
Haletta loved to knit and crochet for her family. She loved to entertain her family and friends and have them over for coffee and dessert.
Survivors include her children, Vicki (David) Craig, Valerie VanNiel, Jeffrey (Susan) DeFisher, Timothy (Alyson) DeFisher and Tamara (Leonard) Milazzo; 17 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Preceding Haletta in death are her husband, Eugene DeFisher; son, Barry DeFisher; sister, Noreen Everhart; brothers, William and Dale Leroy and son-in-law, Clarence VanNiel.
The family will receive guests from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio 44060. A private interment will take place in Williamson, NY.
