Sodus Point: In the presence of family and under the compassionate care of staff at the Sodus Rehab and Nursing Center, Grace Zerbe was called to her eternal resting place, reuniting with her loving husband, Henry.

Sodus Point was her home for much of her 96 years. Her beautiful country residence along Sodus Bay became her sanctuary.

Grace loved her family above all else and found great joy in her 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, with the youngest being born just weeks ago. During her lifetime she built special bonds with her beloved nieces, spending countless hours in their company.

Grace cherished her friendship with long-time friend Loretta. The two would recall times together with their spouses as some of their very fondest memories.

For many decades, both Grace and Henry served as Communion Stewards at the Sodus Point United Methodist Church. Their grandchildren tell of snacking on the leftover bread and grape juice on Sundays.

Grace will be remembered by her daughter Joan Zerbe-Brandt and family (David, Jeff, Jeremiah, Jolie & Tanner) and son Todd Zerbe and family (June, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Shauna & Kyle), many great-grandchildren, and extended family.

A private burial will be held for the family at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
