Edward J. Lake
Williamson: Entered into rest on October 21, 2024 at age 87.
Predeceased by his parents: Lawrence and Pearl Lake; siblings: Gene (Laura Marie) Behrens; Shirley (Gus) Gelardos; James and Robert Lake.
Ed enjoyed owning his own family business, Lored Associates in Macedon, NY. He and Loraine were caretakers in Big Pine Key, FL from 1997 – 1998. They enjoyed living in Helen, GA in their mountain home from 1999 – 2001 and returned to Williamson in 2002. Ed was the first Director of the Pal – Mac Food Pantry.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Loraine Skory Lake; children: Charles (Aletha) Steehler and Vicki Ann Erwin; grandchildren: Anthony Mosca, Angela (Jake) Stacy, Eleanor and Audrey Erwin; great grandchildren: Jaxon, Karter, Judah, and Iris; sister in law: Connie Lake; many extended family members and numerous friends.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held on (Saturday) November 9, 2024 at 10am at Young Funeral Home, Williamson, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Ed can be made to the Williamson Volunteer Ambulance Service or to the Williamson Come – Unity Center.
