Williamson - Donald Robert Tompkins, 71, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Young Funeral Home, 4025 Ridge Road, Williamson, New York. Following visitation, final military honors will be rendered.

Donald was born on Monday, December 6, 1954, in Rochester, New York, the son of the late Victor L. and Elizabeth Irene (Mullikin) Tompkins. He grew up in Henrietta and attended Henrietta High School.

Donald enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1971 and proudly served his country for twenty years, retiring with an honorable discharge. He achieved the rank of Gunnery Sergeant and served as an Administration Chief. Donald was deeply proud of his service and commitment to the Marine Corps.

In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He was a loving parent and grandfather who cherished every moment with those he loved.

Donald will be remembered by his daughters, Chiaki (Jeffery) Castro and May (Ray) Chiccino; his grandchildren, Justina Duenas, Joseph Duenas III, Delores (Daniel) Jaimes, Jayden Chiccino and Vinny Chiccino; great-grandchildren, Ezra Duenas and Penelope Jaimes; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donald was predeceased by his wife, Ryoko, in 2022.
