Charles F. Crumb “Charlie”
Pittsford: Entered into rest on (Sunday) September 15, 2024 at age 82.
Predeceased by his siblings: Martha, James and Donald Crumb; son-in-law: Donald Ledain, Jr.; sister-in-law: Sally Cummings.
Charlie was a devoted and dedicated member of the Pittsford Volunteer Fire Department for 38 years. He was a member, officer, Chief, Past Chief and exempt member throughout his voluntary service.
Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sue; children: Scott (Kim LaFave) Crumb and Heather Ledain; grandchildren: Adam (Anna Schimpf) and Eric Crumb, Benjamin and Alex Ledain, Joel (Chelsea) and Luke (Gabby) Northrop; great grandchildren: Kyle and William; brother: Larry (Anne) Crumb; several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Donations in loving memory of Charlie can be made to a volunteer fire department or ambulance service of your choice.
A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
