Beverly Richardson Verbridge
Williamson - died peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she had moved in January to be near family.
Beverly was born on November 26, 1929, to Floyd and Cora Bliek Richardson of East Williamson, New York. She attended school in East Williamson and Williamson and graduated from Sodus High School. She was a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Nursing. Shortly before finishing nursing school, she married Gerald H. Verbridge of Williamson, who was then serving in the Army during the Korean War.
Beverly and Gerald lived for many years on the Verbridge family farm in Williamson. Beverly worked as a registered nurse and as a travel agent. She volunteered at the Pultneyville Reformed Church and Zion Episcopal Church in Palmyra, New York. She also volunteered as an Adult Literacy Volunteer, Volunteer Driver Coordinator, local Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator, and AFS area representative. She greatly enjoyed traveling, attending concerts and plays.
Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Gerald. She is survived by children Susan (Larry) Paulson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Tom (Jill) Verbridge of Tucson, Arizona, and grandchildren Christina (Owen) Brumback, Danny (Paige) Paulson, Sam (Melissa) Verbridge, and Hannah Verbridge, and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Grace and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, where Beverly was a member since moving to Colorado.
