Barbara M. (Young) Ruple
Marion: Entered into rest peacefully on October 21, 2023 at age 92.
Predeceased by her husband: Kenneth R. Ruple.
Barbara was a woman of faith who was devoted to God, family and friends. She was the homemaker extraordinaire; sewing her entire life and as her children would attest, made their school clothes; crafted ceramics, did cross stitch, knitted and quilted. She canned fruits and vegetables and was an exceptional baker. For many years she had a prolific cake baking and decorating business in Wayne County. Camping was a passion for many years as the family visited all corners of the country. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by her loving children: David (Angela) Ruple, Lorie (Joe) Henley and Lee (Tabetha) Ruple; grandchildren: Christopher (Lizzie) Ruple, Jeffrey Henley, Bethany (Cory) Arnold, Devin (Gina) Ruple and Shelby (David) Diaz; great grandchildren: Emily, Sean, Colin, Jonas, Addison, Reis, Brielle, Aksel and Elias; sister: Joan Clancy; brother in law: Jim (Janet) Hosbach; nieces, nephews, extended family members and numerous friends.
Family and friends may gather on (Sunday) October 29, 2023 from 12pm -1pm followed by her funeral service at 1pm at Young Funeral Home, Williamson NY. Private burial in Marion Cemetery.
