Williamson:  Entered into rest on November 30, 2018 at age 56.

Predeceased by his father: Simon A. Mellott; grandparents: George D. and Marie Miller and Ira (Buck) and Clara Mellott.

Steve proudly served our country in the United States Army and Army National Guard for almost 40 years. He deployed to Korea several times and Afghanistan.  A favorite pastime of Steve’s was watching his sons play soccer and loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 27 years, Karen; sons: Britt (Jena) and Blake (Jessica) Mellott; grandchildren: Chloe, Jeremy, Hallee, and Colton Mellott; mother: Helen Louise Mellott; siblings:  Shirley, Tom (Betty), Cindy, Don (Norma), Ron (Lona), Rodney (Terri), Brad (Tori), Melody (Estrella) and David (Amy); sisters in law: Janet (Mike) Leschhorn and Joyce (Jon) Croman; adored nieces and nephews; many friendships from the military and his civilian job at Kennedy Mechanical.

There will be an informal gathering at the American Legion: 4141 Witherden Road, Marion, NY 14505 on (Saturday) December 8, 2018 from 3pm – 7pm to celebrate and remember Steve. 

Please note:  A formal service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held on (Monday) December 17, 2018 at 1pm at the Sideling Hill Christian Church, 10424 Sipes Mill Road, Needmore, PA  17238.
