Williamson: Entered into rest on (Sunday) July 15, 2018 at age 76.

Predeceased by his parents: William and Evelyn Van Petty.

Dick was a proud, longtime owner of Van Petty Excavating for 45 years.  He was a lifetime member and past chief of Pultneyville Fire Company.  He loved to hunt and spend time with his family.

Survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Bev; children: Keith, Karen, and Kevin Van Petty; sister: Jane Bliek; furry companion: Nikki; many extended family and friends.

Calling hours will be held (Thursday) July 19, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Young Funeral Home, Williamson, NY.  Graveside service will be on (Friday) July 20, 2018 at 1pm at Sunnyside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Dick can be made to: Wayne County Humane Society.
