LaVern "Bill" C. Mables

Williamson:  Entered into rest on (Saturday) April 7, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at age 85.

Predeceased by his parents: Peter Mables and Irene (Haak) Grabb; father and mother in law: Walter and Jennie Hubright; brother in law: Emerson Van Houter.

Bill proudly served our country in the United States Army.  

Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marlene: daughters: Karen (Bill) Freeman and Michele (Robert) Knorr; grandchildren: Christina (Todd) Shaver, Jason (Kara) Freeman, and Marissa Knorr; great grandson: Alan Shaver; sister: Lillian Van Houter, and step sister and brothers; sister in law: Marilyn (Ken) Miller; brother in law: Laverne Hubright; many extended family members and friends.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on (Thursday) April 12, 2018 at 1pm at Young Funeral Home, Williamson, NY.
