Predeceased by first wife: Jean Smith Cogdell; brothers: James and Alexander Jr.; sisters: Juanita Taylor and Marion Adams.
George was a longtime, devoted employee of Mott's for almost 40 years.
Survived by his devoted and loving wife, Earithal; step children: Michelle Lee, Jeffery (Camille) Scheffield, and Michael Brown; several grandchildren; sisters: Alma Reaves and Hattiebelle Cogdell; brother: Curtis Cogdell; sister in law: Linda Leach; special nephew: Leon Williams; many extended family members and friends.
Calling hours will be held on August 1, 2017 from 4pm – 7pm at Young Funeral Home, Williamson, NY. Graveside service on August 2, 2017 at 11am at Sodus Rural Cemetery.
