Newark: Entered peacefully into rest with family by her side, after a courageous battle with COPD on September 2, 2018 at age 58.

Predeceased by her parents: Robert and Gladys (Stipke) Gilbert, sister: Beverly "Bevie" Hotchkiss; brother: Rick J. Gilbert, Sr.

Survived by her loving children: Nathan (Lisa) VanGorder; Kymberly (Tray) Smith and Sarah Bergfjord; adored grandchildren: Lillian, Olivia, Brayden, Vanity, LoLo, “Lily” and “Miles;” siblings: Betty Jane Moses, Barb Vickery, Rob (Julie) Gilbert, and Betsy (Nick) Americo; brother in law: Stephen Hotchkiss; nieces and nephews: Leslie and Patrick Moses, Tiffany Damore, Melissa Alvarado and Barney Yost, Amber, Russell, Robert and Abbie Gilbert, Brandon Tilburg and Rick Gilbert, Jr.; many extended family members and friends.

A private celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at a later date.
