Williamson:  Entered into rest on (Thursday) May 9, 2019 at age 93.

Predeceased by her husband: Leon Bouwens, Sr, (1989), daughters: Kristy Dolan (1980) and Teddy Tonzi (2019).

Betty was a longtime homemaker and loved to watch and feed her birds.  She loved her feline friends; most recently, “Pepper, who loved only Velveeta Cheese.  She was an avid shopper at Kohl’s. Betty was well-known for her homemade Dill Pickles and her Dutch Lettuce.

Betty is survived by her loving and devoted son; Leon “Butch” (Carrie) Bouwens; grandchildren: Scott, Stacey, Christopher, Geoff, Peter and Stephen; several great grandchildren.  A special thanks to all her friends, neighbors and special caregivers.

Calling hours will be held on (Tuesday) May 14, 2019 from 5p – 7p at Young Funeral Home, Williamson, NY.  Graveside service and burial will take place on (Wednesday) May 15, 2019 at 1pm in Lake View Cemetery.

In lieu on flowers, donations in loving memory of Betty can be made to the Williamson Volunteer Ambulance Service.
