He was predeceased by his parents: Charles and Ethel Osterhout; son: Vern Osterhout; sister Betty Mckee (Sam); brother: David (Joan) Osterhout.

Survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Shirley; children: Craig (Michele); Wade (Lori), Clint (Peggy); daughter in law: Sandra Osterhout; beloved "sister" Helen Schultz; grandchildren: James (Katie), Katy, Michael (Carolyn), Anna, Kayla (Roland), Chad, Becca (Marty); (7) great grandchildren; sister in law: Connie Louise (Carmen); brother in law: Jerry (Darlene) Bailey; cousin: Carlyle (Doris) Darron.

A private service will be held by the family.
