Jonica “Niki” Roosa

Sodus Point, NY:  Entered into rest peacefully on March 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at age 77.

Predeceased by her parents: Richard W. and Frances Fischer Snow.

Niki was a longtime member of the Golden Link Folk Singing Society, Sodus Bible Baptist Church Praise and Worship Team and The Merriwick Three Folk Trio.  She loved to sing and was an avid guitar player.

Survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Joe Roosa; children:  Karen (Royal) LaLonde, Scott (Renee) Royal, Susan (Steven) Dennie and Daniel (Sara) Roosa; grandchildren: Jake LaLonde, Truman, Emmaline, Sophia, and Daniel Royal, Joshua (Kristen), Jason (Jennifer) and Jess (Laura) Dennie; sisters: Patsy (Roy) Cliff and Lauren (John) Evans; brothers: Michael W. (Brenda) and Christopher “Kit” Snow; many extended family members and numerous friends.

Calling hours will be held on (Sunday) March 10, 2024 from 1pm – 3pm at Young Funeral Home, Williamson, NY.  A celebration of Niki’s life will be held on (Monday) March 11, 2024 at 11am at the Sodus Bible Baptist Church, Sodus, NY.  Private burial in White Haven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Niki can be made to the Pluta Cancer Center.
