Lucille L. Morgan

Newark:  Born in Kinston, N.C. on October 11, 1924 and passed on July 22, 2016 peacefully at home with family and friends by her side.

Predeceased by her husband: Robert Morgan, Sr.; parents: Willie and Florence Carter Lynn; brother: George Lynn; sister Adele Turner; grandsons: Robbie Morgan and Terry Bulman, Jr. and great-granddaughter: Susan Elliott.

Lucy loved family themed parties, cooking Southern food for her family, crossword puzzles,fishing, crocheting, bowling, and country music.  She worked hard and held various occupations and eventually retired from NDC in Newark, NY after many years of service.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children:  Bobbie (Ron) Elliott, Rita Morgan, Robert (Karen) Morgan, Jr., Jean (Terry) Bulman, and Gloria Gail Morgan; 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend: "her doctor" Karen Roth.

Calling hours will be held at Cross Creek Church: 3700 Route 31, Palmyra, NY on (Saturday) July 30, 2016 from 10am - 11am followed by a funeral service starting at 11am.  Private burial will be held in Pine Level, N.C.
