Jerry was a fruit farmer for 50 years at Youngman Homestead. He served on the Wayne County Farm Bureau Board as President and Vice-President as well as the Farm Bureau Committee with lobbying in Albany and Washington, and the American Farm Bureau on the fruit and nut committee with trips to Texas and Nevada. He represented Wayne County Farm Bureau for two years on the F.B.I. Age Terrorism committee out of the Buffalo office and served on the founding board for the Northeast Juice Cooperative. He was a member of the Pioneer Gas Engine Association and Greater Rochester Association of Realtors while working with Caldwell Banker Pultney Land Company and Realty U.S.A. His heart was fullfilled from a lifetime enjoyment of swimming, fishing, and boating in Lake Ontario, NY and Lake Worth, FL.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, GeGe; daughters: Tammy (Mike) Cormier; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; man's best friend, Beau (Mr. Bojangles); sister in law; brother in law: Howard (Irene) Buchan.
Calling hours will be held on (Tuesday) February 7th from 4pm to 7pm at Young Funeral Home, Williamson, NY. Funeral service will be held on (Wednesday) February 8th at 2pm at the funeral home. Private burial in Marion Cemetery.
