Cora N. Eller

Sodus:  Passed away on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband: Norman Eller; parents:  Leonard and Jennie Newell, brothers:  Willis and Charles Newell.  Survived by children: Nathan (Jocelyn) Eller, of Clyde, David (Penny) Eller of Sodus, Brenda (Danny) Davis of Sodus, Diane (Jack) Lapoint of Baldwinsville, Norman (Lauri) Eller of Geneva, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Cora was a graduate of Sodus High School in 1948. She enjoyed bowling and church choir, until getting married in 1958. She had worked at Catlains Market and Garlocks in Palmyra until joining her husband in co-owning and being bookkeeper for Norm’s TV Repair and raising her five children. As a change of career, she became a home care aide. Cora enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren; was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting afghans for her family. She also enjoyed getting together with her cousins once a month for a luncheon at Steger Haus. At Cora’s request, no services will be held.
