Alden C. Lockley

Williamson:  Age 77, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2017 after a long illness.

Born on November 8, 1939 to Kenneth and Marion Clough Lockley.  He graduated from Williamson Central School and SUNY Morrisville.  He joined the U.S. Army Veterinary Corp. in 1962 and was stationed at the Boston Army Base where he was a food inspector during the Vietnam War.  While stationed in Massachusetts, he met and married his wife, Simone Pare Lockley.  Following his discharge from the Army, Alden and his family moved back to NY where he was employed as a Quality Control Supervisor at Monroe Frozen Foods in Middleport, NY.  Following the death of his mother, he and family moved back to Williamson to care for his father.  He was employed by Xerox and retired after 25 years.  

Besides his parents, Alden was predeceased by his brothers: Robert (Rosita), Carlton (Evelyn), Edward (Betsy), and James Lockley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Simone; daughters: Elisa (Alan) Knataitis, Catherine Lockley; MaryBeth Lockley; Patricia (Ronald) Kiesinger, and Erin (Stephen) Dunning; beloved grandchildren: Samantha (Tim Kulijof) and Joshua Knataitis, Madison and JayElle Dunning, Alayna and McKayla Kiesinger; great grandchildren: McKenna and Cooper Kulijof; sister: Beatrice (Kenneth) Follette; sister in law: Barbara Lockley; mother in law: Helene Pare; sister in law: Jocelyn Pare; brother in law: Louis (Wendy) Pare all of California; many nieces and nephews and four legged friends: Penny and Tipper.

Calling hours will be held on (Saturday) October 21, 2017 from 4pm - 8pm at Young Funeral Home, Williamson, NY. A memorial service will be held on (Monday) October 23, 2017 at 11am at the Williamson Bible Baptist Church, Williamson, NY.  Burial in Lake View Cemetery with military honors.
